  Funniest/Most outrageous/Most Shocking/ thing...

  i was just wondering what was the most astounding thing you guys have had a jw say to you.

  whether it was while you were still in the borg or after you left.

  i've heard some rather funny stories on this subject.

  There are many...One that sticks out though is around 1977 or 1978 during the Service Meeting, a brother was giving a part from the KM on How bad and dangerous the music of the day was. The WTS suggested disposing of any "Questionable" music we had in our homes. Well, being married at the time to a pioneer who was WAY out of balance, and the badgering I took to throw away most of my albums, I succomed....Damn...I look back at what I tossed out and half of them are collectors items today. To name a few: Cactus, Eagles, Yes, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath, VanHalen, Moby Grape, Spooky Tooth, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix...and on and on the misery goes!!! What a crock that was...Still pissed after all these years!!!

  Wedding update-Ona and Bikerchic

  i got a call from ona and bikerchick last nite.

  i was to meet them thursday near williams, arizona, for lunch.

  they called because plans had to change and they couldnt make it.

  Hi Lilacs!...Those were some great gifts! That's an awesome printer, when my HP craps out I was thinking about a lexmark...let me know how you like it.

  OK..It's only the day after Santy-Claws came and I know he shouvled out more goodies than what's here....so....lets see some more!!!!

  Hi Prisca, Those were very nice gifts. If there is a gillette Mach-3 razor in the giftset, I worked on designing the machines that assembled the razor. He'll love that gift, Gillette makes the best Men's products for shaving. I don't work for Gillette, honest...LOL

  Hi Sentinel, Having your son call and communication with your Mom was a great gift!

  Wednesday, How nice to enjoy a day with your grand-children, I bet they went wild with all those gifts you got them.

  Ruby, take a picture with your new Jacket...sounds nice!

  I know theirs more neat gifts...lets hear some more!!

  Tink and I decided that we would buy gifts for our neices and nephews, but were gonna go shopping and treat ourselves this weekend. Tink's secret santa (beautiful garbage) made her some deliceous cinnammon raison bread, decorative hand crocheted clothes hangers that were beautiful, and crystal candle holders with Tea Candles. My gift should be arriving soon. I can't wait!

  What Did You Hate About The Circuit OV.'s Visit?

  i think that there a number of things about the circuit overseer's visit that stinks!

  one thing that i hated was how all the elders got together to "shepherd" the flock right before the co's visit.....what bothered you about the week long visit??

  Hey Minimus. I knew that during the year the Elders would have to come up with recommendations. I just dredded getting cornered with the same old guilt trip line.

  I bet your glad that you don't have 4 hour meetings on Christmas anymore...LOL
